    Here's How to Get Your Tax ID and Other permits and Registrations You May Need. Seller's Permit, LLC, DBA, Licenses & Tax IDs Requirements:




    First decide on a business structure Education as a Sole Proprietor, LLC/Corp, or Partnership.


    Note that each structure requires a filing. E.g., selecting an LLC, requires at least an LLC certificate, an LLC operating agreement, a business license and a federal tax ID number.

    All Education Businesses need a , Business tax registration also called an occupation business License

    Selling/Leasing or if wanting to buy or sell Education merchandise, food, equipment requires a Seller's Permit.

    All Education Businesses Using a DBA doing business as name need a DBA Fictitious Business Name

    Hiring Education Workers Requires a Federal EIN and a State Tax Number EIN

    A: Non profit education entities must file a non profit corporation and get a federal tax id number.

    After filing and getting the two certificates, ( you can obtain both here on this site), you need to apply for a state and federal tax exemption for your nonprofit.  Subsequently, if you sell anything that requires that you charge sales tax, you will need to obtain a sales tax id also called a seller's permit.

We are just planning to run camps with students from abroad in the states.

    I have an LLC for a school in the states I wonna take licens but have problem with language i will have my bank retrieve my money have and no one answers many times send me my license.

    I paid for a NC business license on 6/8/15 and have not received it so i will get sellers permit dba and llc it says from you guys it says i need a ein buy i already have it right i have a website i sell from no physical location.

    so do i just need resellers permit so i need everything it offers on that link do i have to do a dba with an llc if it pops up on that link i need all it suggest I submitted my wrong email address when ordering my business license how can I change this or see my order online.

So is a Tax ID a tax permit?; In essense, yes, it is a tax permit. So what is a resellers license?; A Tax ID or re Tax ID license is a resell permit of merchandise and it is used as a sales tax permit because you collect sales tax and you pay the state.
    The first thing to decide is what business entity structure to select.  There is a sole proprietor, a partnership or a corporation or LLC.  If you are a sole proprietor/owner, you will need a business license (business tax registration occupational business license). If you also use a business name to do business, you also need a DBA (Doing Business As). However, if you incorporate or form an LLC, you do not need to register your business name because the LLC name will be your business name.If you will sell any type of merchandise or item in small or large amounts, you will need a  Tax ID (sales Tax License ).  If decide to hire help, you will need a federal EIN  and a state employer ID.
