    A state sales tax id also called a seller's permit and a state employer id also called a state ein.  Some businesses may need a state general business license  id depeninding on the type of business.  For example, some that would need a USDA license, also need a general state license id.

    I am operating an emcommerce website from home in Youngstown, Ohio. I have an FEIN. I will not have any products onsite on my home nor customers. Do I need an SEIN, sellers permit, cusiness Licence etc. Any detail and info much appreciated

    You will need a seller's permit to sell items as an ecommerce site in OH.  If you will hire employees, you will also need the State employer ID Number ( SEIN ). However, all business also need a business license and if using a trade name such as "Youngs Ecommerce," the business must also file a dba.  All these filings can be done here online for the lowest fees.

    You can get the tax id for a nonprofit here online. It is called a federal ein.  You will need this ein and a formation of a non profit corporation. This can also be done here at our site for a very low fee.   After we obtain these 2 certificates for you, namely an ein and a nonprofit corporation certificate, you will be able to apply for tax exemption status at the federal and  state level.

    A : The first step is to get your crafts jewerly licensing which is a seller's permit to buy the craft supplies and other materials wholesale and seller them retail .  "fairs Craft Uniqueness jewelry," is a trade name and you need to file a MI DBA doing business name registration as well.

      Unless you know how to build a website, hire a professional to build a functional website so you can sell online.
